There is no setting or trick around that, and we don’t recommend trying one. Because the 3-day free trial starts the first time Clacky opens, nothing is used up on an older Mac. Download it again once your Mac runs macOS 13. ## Can your Mac update to macOS 13? 1. Open the Apple menu → **About This Mac** to see your Mac’s model and year. 2. Compare it with Apple’s list below. Apple’s page for macOS 13 lists these Macs. 3. On macOS 12, open **System Preferences → Software Update** (Monterey still uses System Preferences) and install the newest macOS it offers. 4. Back up with Time Machine before a big update.
