# Refunds

Short version: try Clacky free first. If you’ve paid and something is wrong, email us and we’ll make it right.

## Try before you pay

Clacky is free for 7 days, with no card and no account, so you can check it works on your Mac before paying anything.

## If something is wrong

Email [hello@clacky.app](mailto:hello@clacky.app) with your order ID (it’s in your receipt email). We’ll sort it out, including a **refund through Polar** when that’s the right fix. The money goes back to the card you paid with.

A refunded plan ends, and its licence key stops working.

## Your rights

This never takes away a right to cancel or a refund that consumer law gives you where you live.

## Cancelling a plan

Monthly and yearly plans can be cancelled any time from the [customer portal](https://polar.sh/clacky/portal). You keep Clacky until the end of the period you paid for.
