# Remove um and uh from your videos in one go

Clacky Studio finds the filler words in your transcript (um, uh, hmm, and phrases like “you know” and “I mean”) and shows you the list before anything is cut.

## How it works

Words like “like” or “so” are only picked when they sit alone between pauses, so real sentences stay whole.

-   Open your recording in Studio and click Transcribe if there is no transcript yet. It is written on your Mac.
-   In the Remove fillers row, click Review to see every filler Studio found.
-   Uncheck any you want to keep, then click Remove. Each cut gets a soft fade, and one ⌘Z brings them all back.

## Other languages

Um and uh are found in every language, and Studio also knows filler words in Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, Bengali and Tamil.

## Questions

Can I see what will be cut first?

Yes. Nothing is cut until you click Remove, and you can uncheck any filler in the list.

Is my voice uploaded?

No. The transcript is made on your Mac.
