Official rules

Short, and the whole thing.

When

From Thu, 1 October 2026 at 13:46 UTC to Fri, 2 October 2026 at 13:46 UTC (24 hours). Clicks before or after don’t count.

Who can join

Anyone, for free. You need a valid email address that can receive mail (we check it; temporary inboxes and made-up addresses are refused), and you get one entry per email. Your team is the country Cloudflare sees your connection from when you join; it doesn’t change.

Your profile

Pick a username (3–16 letters, numbers or _; unique; no offensive or reserved names) and a Boop. You may add your X handle: it stays private until a Post boost you wrote is approved, then it shows with a ✓ and your X profile picture.

How you score

After you join, every mouse or trackpad click you make anywhere on clacky.app, in the browser you joined with, is one point. Your country is ranked by how many of its players are in the top 100 (ties: more total points).

Post boost ×3

Post about Clacky on X (a video made with Clacky or a text post) that includes the link clacky.app and tags @JustinasRoland0, and submit its link here before the challenge ends. Once we approve it (it must be public and about Clacky), your score is your clicks × 3, including clicks before the approval.

Prize

The top 100 players by score at the end each win Clacky free forever: a one-use 100%-off code for a full licence, sent by email within 72 hours. If you already bought Clacky, we refund your purchase instead. Ties go to whoever joined first. Country prize: the country with the most players in the top 100 wins, and its top 10 players also get Clacky free, even if they are not in the top 100 (same code or refund).

Badges

Cosmetic badges at 100, 1,000 and 5,000 clicks. At 1,000 you also see a $1-off code for Clacky.

No purchase necessary

Joining and playing are free. Buying Clacky doesn’t help your score.

Fair play

As an anti-bot limit, clicks faster than 25 per second per player (beyond human speed) are ignored. We may disqualify entries that use automation, scripts or several emails per person.

Privacy

Shown publicly: your username, Boop, country, score, badges and (once verified) your X handle. Never shown: your email. We use your email only for this challenge and your prize, and delete the challenge data after the prizes are sent. More on the privacy page.

The fine print

Void where prohibited. We may change or end the challenge if something goes wrong (for example, a technical fault), and will say so on this page. Questions: [email protected].
