Sound effects
A soft whoosh as the camera zooms, a low thump where a pause was cut, one real Clacky click on the end card.

What it is
Sound effects give an edited video a little texture: a soft whoosh as the camera zooms in, and a low thump where a pause was cut, felt more than heard.
If the end card is on, it ends with one real Clacky click.
How to use it
Open the recording in Studio
Click the Clacky icon in the menu bar, go to Studio and click Edit a Video.
Turn on Sound effects
In the Edit tab of the inspector, switch on Sound effects.
Play it
Play the preview to hear them, then export as usual.
Tips
- Made for sets how loud the effects are: a Short or a Launch teaser is a bit punchier than a Tutorial.
Questions
- Can I turn the effects off?
- Yes. Switch off Sound effects in the Edit tab.
- Do they cover my voice?
- They’re short and soft, placed on zooms and cuts, so your words stay clear.
