The everyday Mac tools, from the Notch and Now Playing to Mac Health and Keep Awake. Pin the ones you use; every one works the moment you switch it on.

Your favourite tools as cards on one home. Add any from Explore, drag to reorder, drag out to remove.

Each app its own volume, up to 200%, with a live meter, mute and its own output. Clacky remembers each app.

Clean Mac cards by default, or colourful game cards with your Blips, Plain Light, Plain Dark, or Custom in one of six accent colours.

Clacky’s status and controls around the notch: the voice pill, the recorder’s Stop, Now Playing and the focus timer. A drawn notch on screens without one, left out of recordings unless you want it in.

Spotify or Music in the notch: the song, its cover, play, pause and skip. A mini player in the menu bar too.

Record, Present, Code, Focus, Call, Quiet or your own: one click switches a set of tools on together. None puts everything back.

Pomodoro sessions of 25, 50 minutes or your own length, with soft ambient sound, live in the notch.

A sound and a nudge when your AI agent, like Claude Code or Codex, finishes or needs you.

Claude Code’s tokens today and this week, and what they’d cost on the API, plus Codex’s tokens, read from their local files.

Memory, CPU, battery, busy apps and what fills your disk, explained by Boop, with gentle alerts. Turn on Remember 30 days to look back over the week and the month.

A soft chime when free space runs low, never during a recording. Clean up… takes you straight to Storage.

Running dev servers grouped by project, the forgotten quiet ones marked. Stop one or all; Clacky asks first.

Live up and down speed, and which apps are using it. It only watches while its page is open.

Stops your Mac and its screen from sleeping: for a while, with the lid closed, or until your agent is done.

Speak, and your words are copied as a prompt, with the ums taken out, on your Mac. Turn on Paste automatically and it’s pasted where you were typing.

Your last 50 copies: search, pin, paste. Off by default and kept in memory; you can keep them across restarts, encrypted on this Mac. Copies from password managers are never kept.

Tuck rarely used menu bar icons behind a divider. Notch-safe; hover or scroll the menu bar to bring them out.

Remove an app and the files it left in your Library. Everything goes to the Trash, so you can change your mind.

Boop catches a coin in the notch for every new sale on Polar or Stripe. Hide amounts and it only counts sales.

Every Clacky shortcut in one list. Change any of them; if the keys are taken, Clacky says by whom.

Save your Clacky set-up to a file and open it on your new Mac. Private things stay behind.
A screen recorder that hears your clicks, a video editor that does the boring cuts for you, and a screenshot studio.

Screenshot, Scrolling Capture, Edit a Video and Edit a Picture, with your recent recordings and shots below.

Record the full screen, one window or an area, with your clicks heard and their ripples seen. Saved to Movies › Clacky. macOS 15 or later.

Studio cuts the quiet between your sentences, zooms in on every burst of clicks and speeds up the waiting. Click a cut to bring it back.

Select words in the transcript and press Delete: they’re cut from the video with a soft fade. Click a struck word to bring it back.

Every um, uh and “you know”, found in the transcript. Uncheck the ones to keep, then remove the rest in one go.

Your words appear as you say them, written on your Mac, nothing uploaded. Seven caption looks and five fonts.

Float your recording on a wallpaper, a colour, your own image or a blur, then tilt it in 3D: it leans in as a zoom starts.

Drag a box over something private: Blur, Pixelate or a solid Bar, for as long as you like. It follows the zoom.

Tall 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok with the camera following your pointer, 4:5 for the Instagram and Threads feed, wide for X and YouTube, square too. Safe zones show where the app buttons go.

Hide the menu bar and the Dock in one click, crop to where you clicked, or drag the corners. Zooms and captions work inside the crop.

Split, trim and delete clips on the Clips lane (⌘B, Q, W), and play any clip from 0.5× to 8×.

Pick where it’s going: TikTok, Reels, Shorts, X, LinkedIn, YouTube or a GIF. Pick a file size and Studio makes it fit.

Search your recordings by name, date and the words you said. A match shows the line it’s in.

Grab an area, a window or the whole screen. Mark it up with arrows, steps, text and blur, then copy or save.

A background picked from the shot (or your own colour, picture or brand), padding and a soft shadow. ⌥⇧⌘6 takes a polished shot straight away.

Put shots from the Shelf on one canvas, pick a layout, and Nice adds a background, even gaps, rounded corners and shadows.

Hover a window to light it up, click to pick it. Only that window is recorded, with your clicks, ripples and camera.

Pause from the pill, the menu or the notch. Resume and it carries on: one file at the end.

While you record, the notch shows a red dot and the time, with Pause and Stop beside it. They never show up in the video.

Mac audio is on, so your clicks and everything the Mac plays are in the video. Add your microphone when you want it.

Your camera in a bubble over the recording: built-in, Continuity Camera or external, with shape, size, border and mirror.

Arrow, Hand, Big Arrow, Boop Paw or Hidden. Every click squishes it, the ripple right under its tip.

A halo that follows your cursor, drawing on the screen, click to zoom, and a big pulse when you lose the pointer.

The recorder bar, countdown, pill and Clacky’s windows are left out of your recordings. Demo Mode puts them in.

One click makes a 1080 × 1920 clip for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, the camera following your clicks, and copies a caption.

Hum, hiss and room noise gone, your voice at an even level, processed on your Mac. Clicks stay crisp.

Four music beds made by Clacky, free to use anywhere. The music dips while you talk and comes back when you stop.

A soft whoosh as the camera zooms, a low thump where a pause was cut, one real Clacky click on the end card.

Tell Studio what the video is made for: Product demo, Launch teaser, Short, Tutorial or Build in public. The shape, captions and cuts follow.

Studio listens for a feature, a number or “first… then…” and offers pop-up cards right where you said it.

Save a look with a name: background, frame, angle and captions. Use it for the next video in one click.

Clacky reads the screen in your recording, on your Mac, finds emails, phone numbers, card numbers, keys and IP addresses, and Hide all covers them.

One file with your words, their times, the clicks and the edit. Claude Code writes an edit plan; import it and its pop-ups land on the timeline.

Your shot in a window, iPhone, MacBook, iPad or browser frame, at a 3D angle on a background. Copy or save at 4K, 6K or 8K.

Give an area shot a title bar, or a browser frame with your link in the address bar. Auto-balance evens out the margins.

Exact sizes for X, Product Hunt, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and the App Store, and up to 8 looks of your own.

Drag a solid bar over a password, key or email. Nothing under the bar survives.

Every shot slides onto the Shelf beside the editor. Drop in any image, or drag one out to Finder or any app.

Press ⌥⇧⌘T and drag over any text: a video, a PDF, a photo. Your Mac reads it right there and it’s on your clipboard.

Pick a window and Clacky scrolls it for you, stitching one tall image of the whole page.

Mark up a shot, press ⌘C and it’s copied, with nothing left in your folder. Click Save when you want to keep it.
Click, keyboard and scroll sounds, a ripple on every click and your week in clicks. And Boop, one ⌘K away from anywhere.

A satisfying click for every press and release of your mouse or trackpad: 37 sounds in 8 families, from Arena to Spooky.

Typing sounds as you type. Each key press becomes a sound on your Mac and is never recorded, stored or sent. Password fields stay quiet.

A ripple under the pointer on every click, so anyone watching sees where you clicked.

Only with headphones, on the output you pick, or only in the apps you choose. Ripples still show everywhere.

Your clicks, focus, recordings and streak by day, week or month, with your busiest hours. Counted on this Mac; Share on X when you like.

Press ⌘K from anywhere in Clacky: find any tool, or ask Boop how to do something and get the answer with pictures.

Ask “how do I…” and the answer comes as numbered steps with pictures. If it’s a setting, Do it for me flips it; Undo puts it back.

Ask a question or report a bug and Justinas, the human who makes Clacky, answers, with step-by-step pictures when it helps.

Connect Clacky to Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex. Your agent gets a few local tools; you can switch each group off.

Turn on Settings → Connect AI tools and add Clacky to Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex with one line. For Claude Code:
claude mcp add --scope user clacky -- /Applications/Clacky.app/Contents/MacOS/clacky-mcp
Your agent can tell you when a long task is done or needs you, and keep the Mac awake while it works.

Your agent can check a UI with a screenshot or record a short demo. Clacky asks you before every screenshot unless you say otherwise.

Read text off the screen, an image or a PDF, on your Mac with Apple Vision. Plain text only; nothing saved.

Quick context for your agent: CPU, memory, disk and battery, and which mode you’re in.

Leave yourself a task for today or tomorrow, a note, or start a focus session.

The social calendar is an online MCP server, so it also works in ChatGPT and claude.ai. It posts only when you ask. Its address:
https://clacky.app/api/social/mcp
Any agent with a shell, or your own scripts, can call the same 14 tools with the clacky-mcp command. For example:
/Applications/Clacky.app/Contents/MacOS/clacky-mcp call notify '{"title":"Build passed"}'
A SKILL.md that tells Claude Code when to use which Clacky tool. One command installs it:
curl -fsSL --create-dirs -o ~/.claude/skills/clacky/SKILL.md https://clacky.app/ai/SKILL.md
Everything stays on your Mac and only file paths come back. No tool reads keystrokes, typed text or your clipboard history.
One plan with every feature. The tier only sets how much you can use.

Every feature on every tier, $4.99 a month. The tier only sets how much: 100,000 pageviews, 10 sites, 10 social accounts, 300 posts and 300 Boop and AI questions a month. Bigger sites: $11.99/mo for 300,000 and $19.99/mo for 1,000,000 pageviews.

Monthly and Yearly start with a 7-day trial. It starts with your card and nothing is charged during the trial.

One licence works on 2 Macs. Clacky runs on macOS 13 or later; the recorder needs macOS 15, the screenshot studio macOS 14.

Every permission in one list: why Clacky asks, what happens if you say no, and which of your tools use it right now.

Updates download in the background and install when you’ve been away and nothing is recording, shared or in a call.

The app speaks English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Hindi, Italian, Dutch, Korean, Chinese (two scripts), Bengali and Tamil.
