Crosspost to Bluesky and Mastodon in one go
Posting the same thing on Bluesky and Mastodon? In Clacky’s Calendar you write it once, pick both accounts, and schedule it. Clacky checks each platform’s limit: 300 on Bluesky, 500 on Mastodon.

How
- Connect Bluesky (handle + app password) and Mastodon (your server + an access token) under Accounts in the Calendar.
- Click New post, write it, and pick both accounts. Add Telegram, Discord or X if you like.
- If it’s too long for one, Make it fit helps, or Tailor per platform gives that one its own text.
- Schedule it, or Post now and confirm.
Account sets and signatures
A set picks several accounts in one click (say, “Short posts” for X, Bluesky and Mastodon). A signature is added to the end of a post only where it fits. Both work in the Calendar and from Claude.
Questions
- Does Bluesky count characters the same as Mastodon?
- Not quite. Bluesky counts graphemes (what you see as one character) up to 300; Mastodon counts characters up to 500. Clacky uses each platform’s own rule.
- Can I add X too?
- Yes. With your own X API keys Clacky posts it; without them, the X post waits for you with Copy and Open X.
