A social media calendar that lives on your Mac
Clacky’s Calendar is a social media calendar inside a Mac app. Write a post once, see where it’s too long, give each platform its own text if you want, and schedule it.
Status on 2026-10-17: Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord and X work today; more platforms are waiting for approval or coming soon (see each one).

Plan the week
Month, Week and Day views; legend chips show or hide one platform. ★ days are best times picked from your own posts’ engagement, or common good times until you have some. Add to queue drops a post on the next free best time.
Show a sample week fills the coming days with example posts that are never saved or sent, so you can see how it looks.
Change your mind
Drag a post to another day, edit it or cancel it. Cancel and Delete show Undo for a few seconds, and ⌘Z works too. Post now asks once more before anything goes live.
Know what worked
Links to your own sites get a tag per post, so Stats shows which posts sent visitors and sales in Clacky’s Analytics.
Questions
- Does Clacky ever post without asking?
- No. Only at the time you scheduled, or when you click Post now and confirm.
- How is it different from Buffer?
- Buffer is a dedicated scheduling service with more platforms. Clacky’s Calendar is one part of a Mac app. Clacky vs Buffer compares them from each one’s own pages.
