Free Mac tools
Quick checks for your keyboard, mouse, camera, mic and screen, all on one little Mac desktop. Free, no sign-up, nothing to install, and nothing leaves your browser.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type, click, film or say is uploaded or saved.
It runs right here, on the little Mac. Drag the window, open other apps from the Dock.
What’s here
Eight small tools people reach for when something on their Mac feels off, or when they set up a new one: test every key, every mouse button, your click speed, your webcam and microphone, your screen’s pixels and resolution, and copy the Mac’s ⌘ ⌥ ⇧ ⌃ symbols.
Made by Clacky
They’re made by the people behind Clacky, a small Mac app with satisfying click and keyboard sounds, a screen recorder with captions, screenshots and Mac health. The tools are free and stay free.
Questions
Are these tools really free?
Yes. No account, no trial, no ads. They’re here because they’re useful, and they show what Clacky is like.
Do they work on Windows or a phone?
Yes, they run in any modern browser. Some names and tips are Mac-specific (⌘ instead of Ctrl), and phones can’t test a keyboard or mouse.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The camera and mic tests show your stream only on this page and stop when you close it. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
